Comme souvent, en 2010, le site de 3DVF <\/a><\/strong>avait organis\u00e9 un concours ouvert \u00e0 tous avec une th\u00e9matique originale puisqu’il s’agissait de<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Alice au pays … de votre imaginaire<\/strong><\/a>\u00ab\u00a0. <\/span><\/p>\n

Le th\u00e8me nous laissait donc l\u00e0 possibilit\u00e9 de remanier l’histoire selon notre bon vouloir et cela sans limite :).<\/p>\n

Ayant appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 la th\u00e9matique cette ann\u00e9e, je me suis laiss\u00e9 tent\u00e9 par le concours et je vais vous montrer ce que cela a donn\u00e9. Je sais que cet artcile aurait du voir le jour en 2010 au moment du concours mais ce blog n’existait pas \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque pour que je puisse en parler :).<\/p>\n

Je ferai l’impasse sur les prix plus qu’aguichants que l’on pouvait remporter et je vais me concentrer sur ce que j’ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque.<\/p>\n

Voyons un peu comment s’est pass\u00e9 la r\u00e9alisation de mon illustration \ud83d\ude00<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Tout d’abord, \u00a0je me suis appropri\u00e9 le sujet et j’ai opt\u00e9 pour une version \u00ab\u00a0Alice Revenge in Wonderland\u00a0\u00bb. Je voyais donc Alice revenir au pays des merveilles pour se venger de toutes ses m\u00e9saventures gr\u00e2ce au pouvoir du champignon qui lui permettrait de se transformer en Alice-Zilla (version Godzilla d’Alice) et de d\u00e9truire le pays des merveilles :D.<\/p>\n

Charmant n’est-ce pas ?<\/p>\n

Une fois mon id\u00e9e trouv\u00e9e, j’ai r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi \u00e0 comment la mettre en situation.<\/p>\n

Pour \u00a0commencer j’ai choisi le ton, l’ambiance que je voulais qu’il s’en d\u00e9gage. Je voulais un affrontement \u00e9pique comme dans un anime ou tous les personnages travaillent de concert pour lutter contre le chef des m\u00e9chants synonyme de la fatalit\u00e9. Je voulais du fun et de la dynamique dans la situation.<\/p>\n

Pour montrer la sensation de coop\u00e9ration contre Alice-zilla, je me suis concentr\u00e9 sur la composition de la sc\u00e8ne, son agencement, le placement des \u00e9l\u00e9ments\/personnages. Et pour montrer que les personnages luttent, je leur ai attribu\u00e9 une attaque sp\u00e9ciale.<\/p>\n

Pour la composition et le placement, j’ai alors r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une petite maquette en plasticine (p\u00e2te \u00e0 modeler dure)<\/a> pour agencer l’action et donner cette sensation d’\u00e9quipe affrontant Alice-zilla.<\/p>\n

(la composition aura chang\u00e9e l\u00e9g\u00e8rement par la suite mais l’id\u00e9e de base \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sente)<\/span><\/p>\n

Pour le fun, j’ai choisi d’utiliser un style semi-r\u00e9aliste voir cartoon. Puis j’ai ins\u00e9r\u00e9 une touche de comique de situation en ajoutant le lapin toujours press\u00e9 mais l\u00e0 surtout press\u00e9 de fuir le grabuge !<\/p>\n

J’en ai aussi profit\u00e9 pour mettre un clin d’oeil coquin avec l’attaque du chapelier fou qui transforme Alice-zilla en miss t-shirt mouill\u00e9 avec sa machine \u00e0 jet de th\u00e9 \ud83d\ude00 !<\/p>\n

Pour la dynamique, les attaques de chaque personnages ont largement rempli cette fonction avec la chenille qui utilise un \u00e9cran de fum\u00e9e pour contrer la vision laser d’Alice-zilla tandis que le chapelier l’arrose de th\u00e9 brulant. Le lapin aussi contribue \u00e0 l’action car il ajoute \u00e9galement une nouvelle dynamique qui s’entrecroise avec le combat.<\/p>\n

Et voici ce que donne le r\u00e9sultat final !<\/p>\n

As often, in 2010, 3DVF\u00a0 <\/a><\/strong>organized a contest open to all with an original theme about :<\/p>\n

Alice au pays … de votre imaginaire<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

(= Alice in the land … of your imaginary)<\/p>\n

The theme let us the opportunity to revise the story in our manner and without limits :).<\/p>\n

Having\u00a0 appreciated it, i tried this contest and i’m going to show you what i did this year.<\/p>\n

I’ll just focus on my work and not on the prices that we could win.<\/p>\n

Let’s see how i did my illustration \ud83d\ude00<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Foremost, i appropriate the subject and i choose to do an \u00ab\u00a0Alice Revenge in Wonderland\u00a0\u00bb version. I saw Alice come back in wonderland to get revenge on all her misadventures using the power of magical mushrooms that allow her to become \u00ab\u00a0Alice-Zilla (Alice + Godzilla) and to destroy the wonderland.<\/p>\n

Charming isn’t it ?<\/p>\n

Once i found the idea, i thought about how i could put it in situation.<\/p>\n

To begin i chose the tone, vibes that i wanted for it. I wanted an epic fight like in an anime movie where all the heros fight together against the big bad boss.\u00a0 I wanted some fun and some dynamism in the scene.<\/p>\n

To show the sensation of cooperation against Alice-Zilla, i focused on the scene composition, the layout of the elements\/charcters. And to show that the characters are fighting, i gave them a special attack.<\/p>\n

So to get that i realized a little mock-up with some plasticine to place everything and to give this sensation of a team fighting against Alice-Zilla.<\/p>\n

(chenille = caterpillar, chapelier = milliner)<\/span><\/p>\n

To add fun, i used a half-cartoon style and i put a bit of comedy adding the rabbit always late but here, receding for his life !<\/p>\n

I took the opportunity to make a naughty wink with the mad milliner’s attack that turns Alice-Zilla into a miss wet t-shirt with his gun tea \ud83d\ude00 !<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

For dynamism, the special attack of each characters have largely fulfilled this function with the caterpillar and his smoke shield to block the laser vision coming from Alice-Zilla while the mad milliner sprinkles her with gallons of burning tea. The rabbits also contributes to the\u00a0 action because he add a new dynamic that intersect with the fight.<\/p>\n

And there is the final !<\/p>\n
